The Appeal

Doctor Who’s Tardis must surely have been the inspiration for this quite remarkable H200 HiAce camper conversion. Somehow a bed, kitche, dining area and toilet have been squeezed in, all professionally and cleverly fitted into the van’s interior.

As is typical of Japanese imports, the condition of those interior fittings and the exterior paintwork is impressive, reflecting the nation’s high maintenance standards and salt-free roads. It arrived in the UK last year and is correctly registered on UK plate with current advisory-free MOT valid to October 2026. It arrives with the buyer fully serviced and with a new battery and fresh tyres.

The vendor tells us that the JEVIC certification verifies the mileage of 208,000 km (129,000 miles), which is barely run in for the torquey 2.7L 4cyl petrol engine. This is a really interesting and well-specified alternative to some more common European alternatives.
