The E350 is such an understated performer, and when it’s presented in the guise of an estate car you have possibly one of the most near perfect packages you could hope for.

This one has fabulous load lugging abilities as it’s the Estate version and with the rear seats lowered is capable of swallowing the largest of loads.

Don’t let all that practicality fool you into thinking this is a mere workhorse, this is a premium executive machine and is capable of wafting you, the family and the dogs along in supreme comfort with its full leather seating and generous legroom.

The interior of this car is, as you’d expect of a Mercedes, excellent quality throughout. 

There is little, if any signs of use and all the seats are free of scuffs, tears or burns. There is a dog guard fitted but there doesn’t appear to be any evidence of a dog ever being transported. All the instrumentation and switchgear all appears to function as it should. 

A navigation system combined in the entertainment system will keep you on course and the Bluetooth telephony will keep you in contact wherever you are.

The paintwork remains bright and glossy with only the merest amount of stone damage to the bonnet. 

There are only a couple of very minor parking dings and minimal scratching to the tailgate area. The overall condition of the exterior is particularly good. The alloy wheels are in good condition with only the front passenger wheel showing a little damage and each corner is shod in quality rubber with plenty of mileage left in the tread. 

The powered tailgate is a real boon which can be operated from the key or an interior switch. 

This Mercedes possesses only a part history of maintenance but it does appear to have been well looked after and is in great condition inside and out.

The V6 diesel engine is smooth and quiet and starts without any excess of fumes. The gearbox is also smooth and changes gear freely without any hesitation.

The mileage is well below average for the year and will undoubtedly cover the same again without much concern.

This vehicle represents a very practical solution to everyday life without compromising on comfort and style. 

A Mercedes has always been regarded as an executive machine and has been synonymous with quality engineering for many years and this E350 Sport Estate is no different. 

The style and quality is plain to see and it does cut an imposing image with the shining grey finish and bright chrome embellishments. Beyond its looks beats the heart of a 24 valve V6 Turbodiesel engine which, if required to, can dash from 0 to 60 in 7 short seconds.
