The Appeal
The Chevrolet Suburban holds the distinction of being the oldest continuous model name in automotive history, first appearing in 1935. This is so much more than just a car; it's an American institution.
This 2011 Chevrolet GMC Suburban LT 5.3 FlexFuel 1500 model combines the Suburban's legendary spaciousness, with modern amenities and the versatility of alternative fuel capability.
This Suburban appears in smart condition as a well-specified 7-seater with premium features including a Bose sound system, comprehensive parking assistance, and a practical power tailgate. Recently acquired from a UK-based American vehicle specialist, it was originally purchased as a potential replacement for a Porsche Cayenne Turbo as a towing vehicle, highlighting its capabilities for those needing substantial pulling power.
The vendor says:
"This is an impressive and well-specified 7-seat SUV in excellent condition, with so many features that the comprehensive owner's manual calls for some study. The FlexFuel spec allows safe use of up to 85% ethanol, as used in Brazil, so no issues with our European 10%.
"Both rows of rear seats quickly fold to give huge load space, and the tailgate rises on the button, with the the glass openable separately. Front door tints could be removed, if wished. This is a big left-hand drive vehicle. long, tall and wide, that needs to be competently driven lest other drivers misjudge its size, but it's a safe, strong and comfortable continent crosser or limo vehicle if that's what's required."
