The Appeal

At its launch, the W465 may have looked much like its boxy, utilitarian and very stylish predecessors, which was definitely a good thing, but the bits you couldn’t see were very different. More advanced suspension made it more capable off-road and comfortable on-road, whilst inside, there was finally some decent infotainment.

The G63 carried over the W463’s M117 4L twin turbo V8, but with the addition of an integrated 48V mild hybrid system featuring an Integrated Starter Generator. This provides a 20hp boost in certain driving situations, whilst the electric motor allows ‘sailing’ with the engine coasting. The headline figures that make this grunty V8 so appealing remain, though - 585bhp and 627lb/ft of torque. Supercar stuff.

This 2025 G63 is an early car finished in Mojav Silver with upgraded black leather AMG interior. The factory specification includes a number of desirable optional including 22” AMG black alloys, AMG Nightpackage, sunroof and leather dashboard. It has covered just 58km from new, which gives the buyer a chance to jump the waiting list with a high spec, virtually ‘as new’ example. Despite the sparing use it has been serviced twice by Mercedes - once on delivery and a second time in March 2026.

This G63 may have been built in August 2024, but to all intents and purposes, it is a new vehicle, as the photos show. It has barely been used on the road, retaining what is essentially delivery mileage. The result is paintwork, bodywork and interior fittings that look little different from a showroom model.
