• First hitting the roads in November 2005, the first owner had gone to town on the options
• Fitting options such as a TV, sports seats, satellite navigation, and Harman Kardon speakers

• It would stay with the first owner for a brief period before moving on to the second

The Interior

• The interior of this E46 330 Ci is in good overall condition 
• Its first owner went to town with the optional extras 
• A sat-nav/tv screen is fitted in the dash
• Both of these features still work, there are some lines in the screen, but these don’t affect the display too much 
• Other options include air-conditioning, heated sports seats, and Harman Kardon speakers
• Its light leather seats are good overall, but there are a few areas to point out
• There is an area of damage on the driver’s seat side bolster
• This can be put down to its age and usage
• Although there is a tear to the leather, it doesn’t make it any less comfortable 
• The other three seats fitted to the car are in lovely condition 
• It must also be mentioned that both the front seats are electrically controlled and heated
• The car's black dashboard is presented with no cracking or discolouration 
• All of its dials all work
• The TV function of the infotainment still works
• All of the windows go up and down on the buttons
• This can also be said for the electric roof
• A few other features include the ski hatch between the rear seats, the original first aid kit, and the original wind deflector
• The latter is reported to be rare to find these days
• Other areas of the interior such as the carpets are also in great condition
• In the boot, you’ll find the original toolkit, spare wheel, and jack
• Overall, the interior of this E46 330 Ci is in good condition with only a few areas of age-related wear

The Exterior 

• Externally this E46 is a bit of a looker 
• Its silver paint, corresponding alloys, and contrasting blue fabric roof look great
• Across the panels, the paint is in good condition 
• Its metal panels appear to be free from obvious paint bubbling
• There was an area of bubbling found within the passenger door 
• There are also a few areas dotted around the extremities that show some marks
• These include some marking to the rear bumper and front lip
• You may also spot some marks on the alloys
• This being said they are shod in a set of Michelin Pilot Sports 
• The rear axle has matching Pilot Sport 4’s fitted 
• Other than these small areas the exterior is in great condition 
• The underside is reported to have no damage
• At the press of a button, the cars fabric roof starts to unfold
• Emerging from the rear deck it arcs over the car and pops into place quickly
• With the roof now up, we can inspect the condition of the fabric
• This fabric roof looks to be in very good condition 
• It also contrasts the sleek silver paint very well
• Overall, the exterior of this 330Ci is in good condition 
• There are a few isolated areas of age-related wear, but nothing that should worry you too much

The Mechanics 

• Under the bonnet of this sleek convertible is a 3.0L inline-six
• It sends its power to the rear wheels through an automatic gearbox
• The current owner reports that the car drives superbly
• Having owned it since 2006 they are best placed to comment on its driving characteristics
• They used to daily drive this car without any problems
• Coming with comprehensive service history you know that the car has been looked after
• On the day of the photos, it certainly didn’t let itself down 
• Starting on every asking it would then idle very well
• Slipping between drive and reverse the gearbox didn’t seem to complain 
• Its last MOT stated that there was a coolant leak 
• This turned out to be the reservoir cap that was starting to fail that has Since replaced
• This MOT runs out in August 2023
• Overall, the mechanical condition of this BMW E46 330 Ci appears to be very good
