Mercedes-Benz 190 SL, year 1962. Chassis number the details belowX, engine number the details belowX, body number the details belowX. Colour blue metallic (colour number 396) combined with a red leather interior and red carpet. Black mohair (Sonnenland) soft-top, red leather hood cover and original hard top in body colour! This fabulous Mercedes 190 SL was imported to the Netherlands in 1998. Just short of ten years ago the automobile was extensively restored to concours condition. The bodywork was restored perfectly (all the original spot welds still visible) with a perfect panel fit and a superb paint system. All the mechanical parts were overhauled (including the dashboard gauges), the chrome was renewed, and a new wiring loom fitted. This gorgeous Mercedes 190 SL is in superb top condition and the car drives and handles perfectly! Over the last years the car has been in service at Altena Classic Service; The 190 SL is fully up to date. This magnificent Mercedes-Benz 190 SL shows all the original details. This including an optional 3rd seat behind the passenger seat and the correct Becker Mexico auto radio. A top-class example!
