1960 Austin Healey Sprite MK I Frogeye. Cherry Red with black upholstery and red piping and a black hood. The Heritage Certificate on file shows the car was built on 9th May 1960 and despatched on 19th May to Portland Oregon in the United States, the options on the Frogeye were Whitewall tyres, Rev counter, Windscreen washers, Front bumper and red and white flashers. The car spent most of its life on the west coast of America before returning to the U. K in 2016 and was fully restored by Midland Classics to a very high standard and converted to right hand drive. It is a matching numbers car and still displays the same colours as it left the factory in 1960, totally original specification except for the Moto Lita style steering wheel. More recently a new stainless exhaust has been fitted, new brake drums front and rear and brake hoses were fitted. The seams, gaps and shuts are as they should be and the paintwork and upholstery unmarked, Very solid with no rust or rot and as good underneath as it is on top. Running and driving very well and putting a smile on everyones face this Frogeye is just waiting to be enjoyed. Absolutely any inspection is welcome. All major debit and credit cards accepted.
