1977 Triumph Stag MK II 3. 0 V8 Automatic. Carmine red with tan upholstery and a black mohair hood. This lovely Stag has been with its last owner for 6 years and during this time has been very well cared for with lots of money spent and only used sparingly covering minimal mileage and now covered just 92, 000 miles in total. A brand new mohair hood has been fitted and the Stromberg carburettors have just been completely rebuilt by a Triumph specialist. The paint is still very sharp, the interior showing no undue wear and the alloy wheels in great condition. The chassis is very solid with no signs of corrosion and the body panel gaps and shut lines are very straight. The V8 Triumph engine starts easily pulls well mated to the automatic gearbox giving a great exhaust burble. The car has a history folder present containing some bills and invoices and old mot’s. The car is now MOT and tax exempt, however for peace of mind a fresh MOT will be applied upon sale. The Triumph Stag really is a great car, a full four seater convertible with power steering and a fabulous V8 soundtrack, whats not to like. Absolutely any inspection is welcome.
