Cars don’t come much more iconic than the Volkswagen T1 ‘Split Screen’.
This absolutely immaculate German-built and UK-delivered RHD 1967 Kombi has been subjected to one of the most impeccable restorations we have seen and has been beautifully appointed as a fully functional camper.
Having undergone a complete and documented body restoration, every feature, fixture and fitting has been carefully thought out and perfectly executed – from the pristine paintwork and Dormobile pop-top, to the bespoke upholstery and camping amenities including fold out bed, sink, gas hob, leisure battery, pedestal table, USB sockets, tow bar and so much more.
Mechanically, this T1 retains its original reduction-gearing drum brakes and steering box but has benefitted from an updated and upgraded 1600cc engine in favour of its original 1500cc unit meaning it drives every bit as good as it looks.
A large history file accompanies the vehicle, too.
This Split Screen camper must be one of the finest on the market and will pass any inspection.
