THE 1850 HL KNOWN AS THE RELIABLE DOLOMITE:
The Triumph Dolomite 1850 HL engine is a 1854cc, four-cylinder, single overhead camshaft (SOHC) slant-four engine that produces 91 brake horsepower. It features two SU HS4 carburetors and a 9:1 compression ratio, providing good performance with a top speed of 100mph. The engine has an iron block and an alloy head and was a
development of a design that received funding from Saab.
