The Mini Cooper is such a brilliant and timeless idea that it is still at the heart of the modern MINI range, more than 60 years on. This pretty Morris-badged MkII reminds us why it made history.

Originally registered in 1970, this is a well-preserved example, powered by the 1000cc engine in a bright red hue. A few subtle aesthetic details underline its sporty look: a slightly lowered body, wider wheels with fender flares, and external fastenings for the bonnet and boot.

In excellent condition, this Mini has clearly been prepared to be driven rather than simply displayed - great news for a keen buyer.
