The Attractions
The 'little Alfa' repeated the classic pattern of the Milanese manufacturer's saloons. It was in fact characterised by a clear-cut, rather squared-off and very sober design, which was covered by particularly refined mechanicals developed by the famous Alfa Romeo designers. It featured a transaxle layout, which allowed it to offer excellent road-holding and high-level handling, and the brilliant twin-shaft 'Nord' engine.
Although the Alfetta was very successful at the time, not many examples have survived to this day. For this reason, we are particularly pleased to present this extremely original and unmodified example from 1976. It is equipped with the lively 1.6-litre twin-shaft engine with 110 hp, retains its original steel wheels and looks truly splendid, having recently been repainted in its original metallic silver colour.
The interior retains its original equipment, including well-preserved black vinyl upholstery. The current owner has used it regularly to attend events and rallies, an activity for which it is particularly well suited.
