The Appeal

The E24 was a masterpiece of timing as much as it was design. The luxury touring Coupe was aimed at dominating a sector that was lacking invigoration. Porsche's next masterclass was still two years away, Aston were too expensive, and Jaguar's XJS was a petrol drinker at a time of fuel shortage.

In comes the Paul-Bracq penned E24, with its determined lines, angular nose and balanced performance. It was a more practical eye for a luxury coupe, certainly a more comfortable one, and as a result? Well, it was a perfect executive car.

This 1983 635 CSi has been in the car of one careful owner since it arrived on Polish soil in 2008. It boasts an accident-free history and has only had a few cosmetic touch-ups over the course of its life.
