The Appeal
The original 930 Turbo transformed the 911. But the 996 was the first turbocharged 911 that was as planted as it was potent. Equipped with a completely redesigned chassis and suspension layout, plus all-important AWD, this 420bhp road rocket is widely regarded as one of the best everyday supercars of the last 30 years.
The trick when buying one is to find a car in the right specification with very good provenance. This 2001 Turbo ticks both those boxes. Its two keepers, the current one since 2005, have clearly looked after it well, keeping it in fine condition and maintaining it extremely well. The car comes to market with recent service in October 2025 that includes new tyres, water/oil exchanger replacement, new fuel pump and float, and oil and filter. The Revisione runs to August 2027.
Finished in Arctic Silver with classic-style Turbo decals, it is a well specified car that has the all-important manual gearbox. This is a cherished, well-maintained example of a viscerally exciting sports car.
The vendor says:
“The car is in excellent condition, original paintwork, never been in an accident, always kept in a garage by a true enthusiast.”
