The Appeal
The MG TF really was a car that personified what made MG great. A punchy mid mounted engine, lightweight construction and a crisp manual transmission. The TF is undoubtedly a car that turns the task of driving into a true pleasure.
Although first hitting the showrooms in the 1990s, the car we have here is a final year 2011 model and hails from the models rebirth that came under new ownership in 2007, thus benefiting from a horde of styling and performance tweaks which really modernise the car, without compromising on the raw simplicity that drew appeal to the TF in the first place.
