The Appeal
In the 1980s Alfa Romeo was strapped for cash, but that was actually good news for enthusiasts. It resulted in this car, the 75, which cleverly spun out the delicately balanced Giulietta transaxle layout into what looked like an entirely new car. It would be the last Alfa to bear that arrangement and is therefore revered by enthusiasts.
Particularly so when equipped, as here, with Giuseppe Busso’s V6 masterpiece. Finished in rare light gold metallic with a rather fetching burgundy leather cabin, it is a very rare survivor of these often rather crumblesome cars, and we say that as staunch Alfa enthusiasts. That 2.5L Busso motor is allied to an automatic gearbox. The car is in good, presentable condition and comes with a spare body kit.
The vendor acquired the car in 2009. It has covered very few miles in the intervening time but has been MOT’d prior to sale to give the buyer visibility of its condition. There are points to note, but it passed so can be driven away. The MOT test suggest a low mileage, but this is not verified. Prior to sale in September 2025 the car received a service with plugs, plus new cambelt, fuel pump and fuel hoses.
For the right Alfisti, this looks like a rare opportunity to acquire a 75 V6 with interesting spec where you can add value.
