The Appeal
There’s an obvious reason why Beaufords remain so popular as wedding cars - nothing matters except getting the bride to the church on time. With their classic looks yet modern mechanicals, it’s a key area where a Beauford scores over a vintage classic.
This 1999 Series 3 has been with its second keeper since 2009 and used regularly for his busy wedding business. He describes it as a ‘money spinner’ and is only selling due to retirement. The white and black colour scheme suits the Duesenberg and Packard-influenced styling and has obvious commercial potential. Inside, there is a well-kept beige leather cabin with walnut trim. As a four-door model, it’s more practical than the smaller models and has acres of rear legroom for the bride and groom. It is powered by a dependable Nissan Laurel 2L engine mated to a Nissan manual gearbox.
The car is in very good condition, as you would likely expect of a wedding car. We’re told that recent maintenance has included attention to the brakes, new wheel cylinders and a replacement battery. The current MOT runs to October 2026.
The vendor says:
“This vehicle is white with black running boards, black wheel arches and mohair roof making it ideal and very popular for weddings as will complement any colour scheme. A real head turner. Klaxon Horn very popular and makes people smile. Brides love to have the roof down in fine weather.”
