The Appeal
The Honda N600 was one of the first Honda automobiles exported beyond Japan, and is quietly instrumental in cementing the marque's reputation for engineering ingenuity. Intended as a rival for the increasingly dominant Mini, beneath the N600's compact bodywork sits a spirited 599cc twin-cylinder petrol engine, capable of returning around 40 miles per gallon. Encountering one on British roads today is an exceptionally rare event, and one that's well worthy of enthusiasm.
This example has evidently been beautifully restored, with a clean and solid chassis, while the yellow paintwork presents with a good, even finish that suits the car's cheerful character.
