The appeal

With its four seats, its lively twin-cam Lampredi engine that loves to rev, its distinctive Pininfarina styling and its Zagato pedigree, backed by almost hand-built construction, few classic cars can rival the character and history of the Beta Spider. Very few of the 9,390 examples built in 1600 form have survived, which today leaves enthusiasts with few chances to experience these elegant and enjoyable cars.

This 1976 Beta Spider 1600, restored and presented in Allumino 610 with a caramel leather interior, has had only one previous registered owner. The mechanicals, particularly the engine, were thoroughly overhauled in 2020, at the same time as the bodywork. The car continues to present well. Its MOT is valid until August 2028. According to the seller, it runs and drives very well.
