The Appeal

Quick, high-revving and exceptionally rare, the 300E-24V W124 is the gem of a range that includes many other fine engines. This car’s Sportline chassis and 5-speed manual gearbox make it rarer still and even more collectable.

Of the 19,300 300E-24 cars built, only 10% of buyers opted for the manual gearbox. It suits the car, letting you make the most of that high-revving engine and exploit the sharper chassis dynamics. This car’s first owner specified striking Blue Black metallic with a black leather cabin, lined in walnut veneer, and later owners have added a black grille and those AMG Monoblocs to further sharpen its menacing look.

The car has had just four owners in its life and is said to be on Italian classic registration and certified by the ASI since 2018. It has been little used in recent years, so it would benefit from a service. Once that's done, the new owner gets one of Stuttgart’s finest saloons to enjoy.
