The Appeal

Quick, high-revving and exceptionally rare, the 300E-24V W124 is the gem of a range of cars that includes many other fine engines. This car’s Sportline chassis and 5-speed manual transmission make it even rarer and more collectible.

Of the 19,300 300E-24 cars built, only 10% of buyers selected the manual transmission. It suits the car, letting you engage with that rev-happy engine and exploit the sharper chassis dynamics. This car’s first owner specified a potent Blue Black metallic paint with black leather interior, lined in walnut veneer, and subsequent owners have added a black grille and those AMG Monoblocs to further amp up the menace.
