The Appeal
The Nissan 300ZX Z32 ranks among the iconic Japanese sports cars of the late 1980s and early 1990s. Its aerodynamic design is paired with modern engineering for the era, notably a bodywork engineered to reduce weight and a 3.0-litre V6. This example is equipped with the naturally aspirated VG30DE variant paired with a five-speed manual gearbox.
Its Gold Pearl (EJ0) finish is one of its distinguishing features. According to the information provided, only 1,206 examples are said to have received this colour for the 1990 model year, before it was withdrawn from the range. The car combines this finish with a black leather interior and a T-bar roof.
Acquired at the Rétromobile Paris show earlier this year, this 300ZX has since benefited from several interventions, including replacement of the timing belt, water pump and various ancillary components. Adjustable KONI dampers and Michelin Pilot Sport tyres were also fitted during the current ownership.
A few scratches, scuffs and minor dents are visible on the bodywork. The car is registered in France as a classic and has an MOT valid until September 2031.image.png1.4 MB

✓ VAT is included in the buyer's deposit. VAT may or may not be included in the final offer or bid price, as specified in the listing.
✓ We want the transaction to run smoothly, just as you do, and that's why cars and motorcycles registered in the UK and listed for sale on Car & Classic are subject to an HPI check to verify that they have no insurance database markers for damage or theft, and are not subject to a financial charge, allowing you to bid with confidence.
✓ We also check whether vehicles are registered as written off as a result of a total loss at the time the listing is placed on Car & Classic and we provide write-off category labels (Cat C/D/S/N) to help you. The presence or absence of a label does not, however, guarantee the status of the vehicle and it is always useful to carry out a full vehicle history check before making an offer on it.
✓ Buyers are responsible for collection or delivery of the vehicle. Importing vehicles may incur additional customs duties and import taxes. If you wish, we can recommend a third-party transport company that can assist you. For more details and to speak to the team, email auctions@carandclassic.com.
