The Appeal
The Renault 5 GT Turbo is one of the most revered hot hatchbacks of its era - a lightweight, turbocharged pocket that's practically quintessential, with agile road-holding and low-to-the-road performance. As a 1991 Phase 2 example, this car represents the final evolution of the model, and arguably the most refined.
This particular car benefits from a comprehensive restoration carried out prior to the current owner's purchase in 2021, with the work well documented. In the five-plus years since, the car has been garage-stored and sparingly used. We're informed it drives like a go-kart, with the kind of direct, engaging feedback that made the GT Turbo's reputation. image.png2.04 MB
Paperwork: Service history supported by invoices since 2021, comprehensive photo album documenting the restoration, and an extensive file of specialist invoices for restoration work
