The Appeal
The Dodge B350 MOWAG 4x4 is one of the rarest and most capable versions of the large American van. Converted by Swiss firm MOWAG, renowned for military and emergency service vehicles, these four-wheel-drive vans were originally engineered for fire brigades and ambulances, giving them solid off-road capability and particularly robust construction. Very few examples are believed to remain in circulation, making this a genuinely uncommon find.
This 1993 example has recently undergone substantial work. The engine is said to have been overhauled and the seller reports it runs without issue. Considerable bodywork has also been completed: the vehicle was fully stripped back before receiving a fresh Warrior paint finish, whilst previously noted corrosion points from the MOT have allegedly been addressed. The underside has been treated and the seller indicates it's in excellent condition.
The rear compartment has been insulated and lined with larch wood, with a platform fitted at the rear. The interior fit-out remains to be completed, leaving the next owner the opportunity to configure it to their requirements. With its four-wheel-drive transmission, good ground clearance and MOT valid until March 2029, this MOWAG-converted B350 represents a particularly distinctive example.
