The 6.0-litre V12 XJS represents the final and most refined evolution of Jaguar's long-running grand tourer. By 1994, two decades of development had honed the XJS into a quintessentially British car of aspiration, offering executive-level comfort in a handsome silhouette. The flagship V12 remains among the most sought-after variants for its effortless power delivery and smooth, limo-style comfort.
For decades, the motoring public fauned over these cars. It may have been a bit of a shock when it hit the market, but it proved Jaguar weren't just sitting on the E-Type's laurels. This was an altogether more evolved, stylish car that was swiftly picked up by the well-to-do, from Princess Diana to Phil Mitchell!
This example has covered 64,000 miles under the care of just two former registered keepers. It was dry-stored for four years before being prepared for sale, receiving new tyres and freshly refurbished diamond-cut alloys. The car's rich, glossy paintwork and bright chrome will surely turn heads, and we understand that it's driving as smoothly as you'd expect from that fireball-chambered V12. The sale includes a private registration plate, and the MOT is valid until September 2027.image.png1.9 MB

✓ We request that a non-refundable fee be paid if you are the lucky winning bidder at auction or if your offer is accepted Please refer to our helpful FAQs and T&Cs for specific rates.

✓ VAT is included in the buyer's fee. VAT may or may not be included in the final bid or offer price, as specified in the listing.
✓ We want a smooth transaction just as much as you do and as such we run all UK-registered cars and motorbikes for sale on Car & Classic through an online HPI check to verify that they show no insurance database markers for damage or theft, and have no finance owing, allowing you to bid with confidence.
✓ We also check whether vehicles are recorded as being written off as part of an insurance total loss claim at the time an advert is placed on Car & Classic and we helpfully provide write-off category labels (Cat C/D/S/N) for your assistance. However, the presence or absence of a label does not guarantee the vehicle’s status and it is always worthwhile carrying out your own full vehicle history check before making an offer on a vehicle.
✓ Buyers are responsible for vehicle collection
or delivery. Importing vehicles may result in additional customs duties and import taxes so it's worth checking beforehand. It is the bidders responsibility to confirm import eligibility prior to purchase.
✓ Unless stated otherwise, you must assume that any cherished, personalised, or heritage vehicle registration is not included in the sale of a vehicle.

Hi I think it must have been as the exhaust system looks uniform with no obvious replacements according to the photos of the underside taken at the time of test so I presume it must have been leaking close the the engine at that time (2020).
