The Toyota Progres is a compact luxury saloon produced exclusively for the Japanese domestic market. As you'd expect from Toyota, this was a beautifully built, solid and impressive luxury car that was practically purpose-built for the executive banking crowd. Powered by the celebrated 1JZ inline-six engine, it occupies a unique niche among JDM saloons and has attracted a growing following among enthusiasts - and very deservingly so, too.

This 2005 example was imported from Japan in December 2024, arriving with a Japanese auction grade of 4 (B), which reflects a vehicle in good overall condition. The 1JZ engine is said to run very smoothly, and it's accompanied by a valid, advisory-free MOT - by all accounts, it's ready and waiting to go.
