The Appeal

For buyers of Mercedes’ rumbling 6.2L W204 C63 wagon for whom 450bhp wasn’t quite enough, there was the firm’s AMG Performance Plus pack, coded ‘P30.’ In facelift cars like this one, that means 480bhp thanks to SLS AMG forged engine internals plus AMG composite brakes and an array of interior upgrades. As a later car, this one has the much-improved MCT 7-speed gearbox that is sharper and more responsive than the earlier Speedshift unit.

The P30 pack was expensive, so cars like this Diamond White estate are rare. With a car like this, it is all about condition and provenance, and this one scores. It spent its life in Japan, where salt-free roads and high maintenance standards contributed to its excellent auction rating when imported last year. We’re told that the service history is available to check online.

Since arriving in the UK, the car has covered around 9,000 miles with the current keeper, who tells us that it has always been reliable. It was serviced in June 2026, including the gearbox, and the drop links have been replaced. The underside has been Lanoguard treated. The current MOT runs to August 2027 with no advisories.
