The appeal
The Renault Trafic is a popular base vehicle for motorhome conversions, thanks to its relatively compact dimensions combined with an interior space large enough to accommodate the main facilities needed for life on board. This 2011 model, fitted with the dCi 115 engine, has been converted to include a kitchen, hot and cold water systems, a solar power supply, diesel heating and several sleeping arrangements.
The vehicle was purchased by its current owner in September 2024. Maintenance invoices are available and an oil change has recently been carried out. According to the seller, the Trafic is running smoothly, with good soundproofing and no noticeable body vibrations.
However, several issues require attention, particularly with regard to the suspension and steering. The MOT report also notes wear on the tyres and brake discs, as well as fog lights that are currently not working. Furthermore, modifications to the chassis prevent certain parts of the vehicle’s underbody from being inspected.20260325_100022 jean-pierre chevasson.jpg4 MB
