Description

MG TA 1936, British Racing Green with cream interior and black soft top and full tonneau cover. Full body off restoration to a very high standard has been carried out on this gorgeous MG that was first registered on 15th October 1936. There are two box files of history including log books going back to the forties, masses of bills and receipts. A selection of spares containing the original steering column as it has been upgraded with a VW unit which is a common conversion are also included. During the painstaking restoration the following was done: MPJG Engine re-bored Plus 20th and-new pistons. Head converted for lead free. New phosphor bronze valve guides. Water pump rebuilt. All new wiring harness. Correct Jaeger instruments including water gauge. Correct fuel changeover valve. New S/ steel fuel tank. New brakes with Alfin drums and soft grab shoes. New road springs with graphite grease then wrapped. This really is a stunning car throughout, must be one of the very best available on the market today.
