The highly successful retro-shape mid-sized Jaguar saloon harking back to the 60’s classic models. This particular car is the improved second generation and arguably the finest vintage with the plusher revised interior, but retaining the stylish rear design. This also benefits from the cheaper road tax. We purchased this Zircon Blue example from the original owner with an amazing annual main dealer service record, and even allowing for its incredible mileage of 18, 000 at the time, judged it to be the sharpest we had seen. The interior still has that young car smell- the Cream upholstery supple as the day it left the factory. With minimal mileage carried out by the second owner, then daily use since 2020 (and 3 further services), the total mileage from new is 24, 000 and this S Type remains in showroom condition. Added rust-proofing procedure carried out by a specialist company recently. A very useable alternative to an XF with simpler maintenance and on the cusp of becoming collectable with this pedigree.
