1973 L reg Ford Capri 1600 manual

Finished in orange with a period black vinyl roof, this Capri is being sold as a restoration project.

Off the road since the mid 90s, this rare face-lift Mk1 Capri needs lots of work, but appears to be complete.

Purchased by Mr John Kelly of Spennymoor in 1976 for £1075 (invoice on file) from the first owner and in Mr Kelly's ownership since then.

64k miles showing (believed to be 164k miles)

Comes with 2 spare doors, plastic rear louvre, spare front windscreen, and a boot full of spares.

The Capri doesn't run although rolls for loading purposes. The steering lock cannot be released although there are keys.

Old style V5 plus manuals and original handbook, Ford Sure booklet, accessories booklet, previous MOT certificates from the 70s, plus invoices for parts purchased in the 80s and 90s.

HPi clear although the report shows the car as being a base trim level rather than an XL as per the badges on the car.
