Description
British elegance in its raw form
Founded in 1947 in Blackpool, England, by Trevor Wilkinson, TVR quickly became one of Britain's most audacious car manufacturers.
Specialising in lightweight, powerful cars, the marque forged a unique reputation: that of a passionate craftsman who refused to standardise.
The name 'TVR' comes from the three consonants in its founder TreVoR's first name.
TVR stood out for its radical approach to performance: powerful engines, tubular chassis and fibreglass bodies.
Produced between 1972 and 1979, the TVR 3000 M perfectly embodies this philosophy.
It is powered by a Ford Essex V6 3. 0-litre engine, developing around 142 bhp at 5, 000 rpm.
Its performance, playful handling and sleek design make it a sports car as rare as it is desirable.
Lively and precise, the 3000 M will satisfy with its effective road manners and an interior that oozes British craftsmanship.
The example on offer was imported from the Netherlands in 2015 by an enthusiast. It has left-hand drive.
Since then, a refresh and upgrades have been made to let you fully enjoy this little sports car.
Fully repainted about 10 years ago in its original colour, with only a few rare signs of use.
The chassis is in good condition and shows no corrosion.
The running gear has been completely rebuilt with new shock absorbers and recent tyres.
The braking system has been completely overhauled: discs, pads, callipers, drums, master cylinder.
Cooling system optimised for trouble-free use with electric fans, expanded reservoir optimisation and a 82°C thermostat.
The mechanicals, regularly serviced by enthusiasts, will delight with its sound and readiness.
A few reliability-enhancing upgrades have been made: electronic ignition, electric fuel pump, full stainless steel exhaust, installation of a fuse box, etc…
The cosy interior welcomes you with comfortable seats, plush carpeting and functional instrumentation, all topped by a dash of striking design.
This TVR 3000 M comes with a few period options including a Webasto roof, a lemonwood dashboard, and a heated rear window.
The TVR 3000 M is ideal for lovers of rugged British character.
Let yourself be enthralled by its performance, its svelte lines and its mechanical note.
