Automobiles SUPERTIMERS presents:
BMW Z3 2. 8 Roadster — 2000
A truly stunning BMW Z3 2. 8 Roadster from 2000, a rare facelifted version equipped with the M52TU (Technically Updated) engine featuring dual VANOS, particularly appreciated for its responsiveness and flexibility.
Beneath its bonnet, the celebrated 2. 8-litre straight-six benefits from the improvements made to the M52, notably the dual VANOS and a variable-length intake system DISA, allowing optimisation of cylinder filling according to engine speed and thus improving torque and efficiency across all rev ranges.
But it's especially when you turn the ignition key that this technology truly comes into its own.
The six-cylinder awakens with a deep and gruff sonority, with remarkable torque availability and excellent flexibility from the lowest revs. When you press the accelerator harder, the note becomes more expressive as the revs climb, transforming into an angry growl at the top of the rev counter. The five-speed manual gearbox with ideal ratios and the 25% limited-slip differential perfectly complement this characterful engine.
The first owner had chosen several particularly interesting options, including heated Sport seats, as well as the rare Harman Kardon / BMW Professional audio system, with a 6-CD changer installed in the boot, which is entirely trimmed.
PRESENTATION:
The bodywork is in excellent condition, free from dents and displaying a beautiful shine.
The interior, trimmed in black Oregon leather, is equally fresh and well-preserved. The semi-electric heated Sport seats are in excellent condition, which is rare enough on Z3s to be worth highlighting.
The electric soft top is well-maintained and perfectly watertight. Its rear window has moreover been replaced with a new pane.
All equipment functions properly, including the air conditioning.
The car comes with both remote-control keys, as well as the original code cards.
Also worth noting are the beautiful 17-inch BMW Motorsport alloy wheels, finished in 50th Anniversary specification, shod in asymmetric configuration with 225/ 45 at the front and 245/ 40 at the rear. A setup that further reinforces the sporting and exclusive character of this Roadster.
This BMW Z3 2. 8 Roadster is sold fully serviced, including gearbox and differential oil changes.
A Z3 that is particularly appealing for its specification, its presentation condition and above all for the character of its straight-six engine.
Do not hesitate to contact me for any additional information or to come and discover it.
About SUPERTIMERS:
Since childhood, I have been a true car enthusiast.
After engineering studies, I had the opportunity to work for 25 years in the fascinating world of die-cast model cars, a world where every detail matters and where automotive history comes to life through the accuracy of miniatures. Through contact with project managers and designers from numerous manufacturers, I have enriched my knowledge and nurtured my enthusiasm for classic cars and Youngtimers.
But beyond the miniatures, it's the beautiful machines that have always thrilled me: those at 1:1 scale, with their character, their soul and those unique sensations — the smell of petrol, the music of the engine, the thrill of driving. A passion that I have always loved sharing with those close to me and my friends.
Driven by this enthusiasm, I chose to take the plunge and give it a new dimension by founding "Automobiles SUPERTIMERS" in 2025.
My ambition: to share this passion with all those who are wondering, hesitating or dreaming of venturing into the world of Youngtimers, by supporting them with expertise, authenticity and enthusiasm.
