History of this car
A left hand drive, standard Tipo 818. 630 model, our car was registered new in 1972 and has lived until recently in Perugia, Italy. Our car is ASI registered and is a low mileage (80k klms or 49k miles), low ownership vehicle with a pleasingly original feel to it.
Sold with an age related UK registration.
Bodywork
Our car is finished in Bronzo, the original delivery colour, a rare shade for a Fulvia. The car has been repainted at some point to a high standard and the finish is lovely with a good luster, excellent panel gaps and straight sides. It makes for a strong first impression. There are no marks or bubbles in the paint and the stainless trim is excellent.
The chassis is very clean with correct subframe mount gaps and our inspection showed no evidence of accident or rust repair.
Mechanicals
This is a standard mechanical specification car that drives particularly well. The matching numbers engine has excellent compressions across all 4 cylinders, makes a great noise and is in good tune. The transaxle is sweet, brakes are strong, the ride pliant and handling superb.
Fresh work includes oil and filter change, new timing chain and tappets reset.
The engine bay presents beautifully with authentic finishes throughout.
New MOT until July 2019.
Interior
This presents beautifully with comfy black seats, unmarked headlining, good dashboard and uncracked dashtop. The original rubber matting is in excellent condition and the car is supplied with a set of protective overmats
Boot
Consistent with the rest of the car: very correct, jack and toolkit in place, spare wheel with tie down and protective cover.
