It is a CR model that has now been converted to triple Weber’s for better performance and reliability, it has a fully rebuilt overdrive that operates in 3rd and 4th gears. This car has had many subtle upgrades including the following: Unleaded head conversion with new rocker shaft, head polished and ported to fast road spec, wide port inlet manifold and gasket, upgraded throttle linkages with Misab mountings, high powered starter motor, six branch performance exhaust manifold and single piped tuned exhaust, trumpets and genuine K&N air filters on the original Italian triple Weber’s, upgraded front brake pads and rear shoes, conversion to rear telescopic dampers, upgraded suspension and poly bushed rear trailing arms, front mounted oil cooler and electronic ignition. Well you can imagine just how well this car sounds and drives with all the above, the glove box houses a speed sensor connected to the front wheels so you can easily add a Rally Trip Meter for use in Classic car regularity rallies of which this car would be a perfect contender.
