Is this the ultimate lotus Elan?
Built to a Elan sprint spec when extensively restored by Vegantune in 1983. This car has been used only very sparingly since. Having covered just 9370 miles since being rebuilt to be precise !
Built on a galvanised chassis with strengthening in all the right places in both the chassis & body making this car just a joy to drive. The engine has been upgraded to 150BHP with the induction made through its Delorto carbs and has recently benefited from a light recommission including new polybushes, drive shaft doughnuts and a rolling road tune up too.
Other improvements include a revotech cooling fan, electronic ignition, servo brakes and Areoquip brake hoses.
Now ready to be enjoyed by its next very lucky owner. This is a quick little car and very capable in the right hands yet enjoyable on a Sunday morning pootle !
Not to be confused with the thrown together, scruffy examples out there. Ours car is a potential show winner too!
