A wonderful 1934 Riley 9, offered for sale with only two previous owners and a fascinating history. Cherished by the same family until 1976, this classic has been meticulously maintained by its present owner and benefits from a fully documented rebuild in 1992, encompassing the ash frame, upholstery, and engine. The pre-selector gearbox was also rebuilt in 1999.
The history file is extensive, including the original green log book, MOT certificates from 1992-2020, and a vast array of receipts stretching back to 1980. Recently serviced by Riley specialist Blue Triangle (last in 2019), with minimal use since. Comes complete with numerous manuals and a photo album of the restoration.
Recently recommisioned to include flushing out fuel system and replacing the troublesome Autovac fuel supply system with a modern electronic fuel pump.
Acquired by the current owner in 2009, this Riley 9 presents a fantastic opportunity to own a well-documented and beautifully preserved piece of British motoring history.
