For sale is my wonderful 1988 Citroen BX 14 Leader.
Very sad to see it go, it's been a wonderful car and never missed a beat. Lots of character and in great condition.
This trim level is now very rare - the majority of BXs which survive tend to be larger engined diesels, but by virtue of this one being lighter, this one flies along and really is a joy to drive. I'm led to believe this is one of two roadworthy survivors in the UK.
Good points - All usual rust traps are clear. All arches are solid. Hydraulics all work fine and spheres are all in good condition. Two new rear tyres last year. Original upholstery is superb and the interior plastics are in great condition.
Not so good points - very minor surface rust on smaller body panels. I suspect the alternator/ starter motor may need some attention soon. If sat for a long time, the battery (which is relitively new) does need a charge if not used regularly.
