The Appeal
The F250/1 marked a bold new direction for the highly regarded Rabeneick manufacturers. Equipped with the JLO single cylinder 250cc engine, it gave buyers a robust, reliable and, as you can see in our photos, stylish bike. It was a perfect for strong postwar demand for economical, inexpensive and reliable transport.
This 1953 example has been part of the current keeper’s large collection for some years. It is a really tidy example that carries a gentle level of patination, the sort that adds character rather than detracting from the bike. It carries German papers.
