The Appeal

The History and Paperwork

• With this Rolls Royce, you’ll be getting a nice collection of paperwork from its past 
• Included are the modern V5 and several large invoices
• The earliest invoice dates from 1990 and documents some assorted works
• Back in 1995, it has nearly £5,000 spent on it to rectify some issues at the time 
• Since then, it has been kept in running condition 
• You’ll also find some of the original A5 MOT certificates as well
• With a little bit of TLC, this car should be back in great condition and ready to work 

The Interior

• Fitted with two comfortable leather bench seats
• There is some wear and tear on the driver’s side of the front bench seat 
• The front passenger portion however is in a lot better condition, with some slight cracking to the leather
• You may wish to get this recovered but it is not needed straight away
• In the rear, the bench seat is in better condition 
• Stretching the length of the rear will provide your passengers with a great level of comfort
• Below the seats, you’ll find the nice-looking carpet 
• This carpet is in good condition front and rear and adds a touch of class to the interior
• Above you, the headliner is in place, but you may wish to recover it 
• Throughout the car, there are some lovely wooden elements 
• The dash area has been preserved well with no large areas of lacquer peel
• You may see that the driver’s side door armrest has come loose so this will require some attention
• With some slight work needed the interior is in generally good condition 
• You will be carrying passengers before you know it

The Exterior 

• It is the exterior that will probably require the most work 
• On the near side, the wing will need replacing
• The current owner mentioned that you could get this completed for about £2,000 using a genuine wing
• The offside of the vehicle is in better condition but could still do with some work to repair some slight bubbling
• On the whole, however, this is an excellent starting point 
• The important parts of the exterior trim are still present
• As you’d expect the car has a lot of exterior chrome
• All of this chrome is in great condition 
• The iconic vertical chrome grille is in good condition along with the front bumper
• This is then mirrored by the rear bumper 
• Once you have completed some of this external work this car will be an excellent example 

The Mechanics 

• Mechanically this Rolls Royce is in good condition 
• On the day of the photos, it started on the button and drove into position
• The gearbox selected first and reverse without an issue
• The handbrake could probably do with some adjustment 
• There are some big invoices from the past that show this car has been cared for
• These cars are usually bulletproof and will serve as a beautiful professional car
• You can just imagine this car transporting many brides and grooms away from their wedding
