The Triumph Herald benefited from beautiful styling thanks to Giovanni Michelotti. Originally released with a 948cc engine, Triumph would go on to offer the 1200cc engine as well as a convertible model. The convertible, still possessing the same beauty whilst also offering a more exhilarating driving experience, helped boost sales for Triumph.
Its popularity was reflected in the Herald being produced for some 12 years and thereafter giving the chassis and running gear platform for its successor, the Spitfire.

This Herald Convertible has been cherished by its current owner and is reluctant sale due to relocating. The interior is adorned with rich Matador Red seats and carpet, both of which are in good condition.
The rear seats have a few small repair marks and all seats are free of any rips or tears. The original wooden dash is in fair condition, with a hole in the glovebox and some attention possibly needed to the underside of the dash. All of the gauges and switches work as should with the convenient addition of an oil pressure gauge.

This Herald Convertible has wonderfully deep Conifer Green paintwork, which really helps to compliment the glorious styling. The convertible hood was recently replaced and is in very good condition, the cover for the convertible hood is also in very good condition.
The brightwork around the vehicle is in good condition overall with some pitting visible in areas such as the headlight surrounds and rear bumper overriders. The windscreen rubber surround has some cracking with some rust also present at the bottom of the passenger A-pillar and the bottom of both doors. Finally, there are some cracks and chips present on the front valance.

This vehicle starts and runs as should. The 1200 engine gives a lovely raspy note, thanks in part to a new exhaust backbox being fitted recently.
