The Appeal
Launched in 1962 as the 2.5 V8, this was the first model released by Daimler after its acquisition by Jaguar in 1960. The car offered for sale here is an example of the mildly updated version the model, known as the V8-250. Upgrades included negative-earth wiring, extra padding on the dashboard, slimmer bumpers and optional power steering.
The vendor first purchased this car in 1988 then later sold it to a friend, before buying it back in 2021. It is said to have been restored during the late ‘80s to early ‘90s, with a comprehensive history file detailing much of this work.
Now offered for sale in very good condition, it is ready to be enjoyed by its next owner.
