The Appeal
By 1984, the Ford Capri had become laser-focused on its home market of the UK - which is perhaps why their new trim level was called exactly that. The Capri Laser boasted four-spoke alloy wheels, an electric aerial, colour-coded grilles and leather accessories in the cabin. Not a reinvention of the wheel, sure, but in a car so perennially popular, revolution wasn't required - and to this day, it's a particularly handsome variant of the Capri that's in high demand.
This 1984 B-registration example comes to us in a rare factory blue over silver livery, and is quite the looker. Having been part of the current owner's private collection, this particular car has been preserved in its original, unmodified condition. Dry-stored and only occasionally taken to car shows, this Capri ticks plenty of boxes, and will no doubt garner plenty of admiring glances.
