The Appeal
The Biturbo Spyder Zagato is one of the more distinctive offerings from Maserati's 1980s range. With its Zagato-penned open-top bodywork and characterful twin-turbocharged V6, it delivered an exotic Italian driving experience in a compact, stylish package. The 2.0-litre variant was produced in limited numbers, making well-preserved survivors increasingly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts alike.
This example was originally brought to Ireland by an Italian owner before being dry-stored from 2003, we are told. Having sat undisturbed for nearly two decades, it was rpeortedly recommissioned and returned to the road in 2026, with a service carried out in May. The vendor reports the bodywork and underside present very well, and the interior is in fine fettle with everything functioning correctly. Described by the vendor as a joy to drive, this Spyder Zagato represents a rare chance to acquire one of Maserati's most charismatic open-top models.
