The Appeal
The E30 is where BMW found its mojo. It’s a car that evolved the understated three-box style of the E21, but added improved, more sure-footed handling to endorse the firm’s claim to build ‘the ultimate driving machine.’
The joy of a 3-Series convertible like this one is that it ticks the boxes marked ‘head’ and ‘heart.’ With the firm’s silky 2.5L 170bhp 6cyl M20 engine and a manual box, it is as engaging as any driver could want, yet with four seats and a decent boot, it is practical and sensible too.
This 1991 325i car is a really well-presented example with a tasty factory specification, including that 2.5L engine and manual box. The Alpineweiss II paintwork is matched with a factory body kit and full sports leather interior in blue with a matching roof. The condition is very tidy for a car that is now 35 years old. The large history file shows regular maintenance with a cam belt change in 2021 and service in July 2025.
