The Appeal
From 1983 to 1992, the second generation of the Golf was effectively the world’s hot hatchback hero. These were tough, easy-going motors that made driving a pleasure. They were born for weaving through tight corners, while still having the perfect level of sturdiness to make for high-mileage daily drivers.
