The Appeal
The Daimler Double Six sat at the very top of the XJ81 range, pairing Jaguar's celebrated 6.0-litre V12 with the heightened luxury and distinction that the Daimler name commanded. With reportedly only around 1,100 Double Six models produced out of a total XJ81 run of just 3,799, they were rare from the outset and continue to be very desirable modern classics.
