L'attrait 

Stanley Kubrick, comme les fans de ses films le savent, était un maître d'œuvre exigeant. Ses exigences élevées ont donné naissance à des films qui ont marqué leur époque. Mais il savait aussi se détendre. C'est pourquoi il tenait à ce que ses films soient uniquement marqués par la présence d'une Range Rover à proximité de sa maison des Home Counties.
Plus précisément, cette Range Rover. Toujours immatriculée au nom de la famille Kubrick, il s'agit probablement de la dernière Range Rover que Stanley a possédée avant sa mort en 1999. Il s'agit donc d'une pièce fascinante de la mémoire cinématographique - qui sait qui Kubrick a piloté pour aller et revenir des plateaux de tournage dans cette P38 de haute qualité ?
Au-delà de l'association avec l'un des plus grands auteurs du monde du cinéma, il s'agit d'un P38 très original, à faible kilométrage, en version de luxe HSE avec le moteur Rover V8 de 4,6 litres. L'état reflète le manque d'utilisation et le fait qu'elle n'ait été conservée que deux fois. Il y a quelques signes d'âge et d'utilisation, mais peut-être que, compte tenu de l'association, ce sont ceux que l'acheteur voudra conserver.
Le dernier contrôle technique n'a fait l'objet d'aucun avis, et le prochain propriétaire pourra bénéficier de la tranquillité d'esprit d'un contrôle supplémentaire avant de prendre possession de la voiture. Marque d'une chance sans stress de profiter du confort et de l'enchère que Kubrick appréciait au début et à la fin de ses journées sur le plateau de tournage.

L'état

  • Conserve sa peinture blanche d'origine en bon état avec quelques marques.
  • Diverses éraflures à noter sur les photos, mais aucune n'est inesthétique et elles sont susceptibles d'enrichir l'histoire de la voiture.
  • La peinture commence à se détériorer, en particulier sur la porte avant et l'aile les plus proches.
  • D'autres zones de corrosion précoce sont visibles sur les photos, mais il est préférable de s'en occuper rapidement.
  • La carrosserie est très droite, sans dommages notables et généralement bien entretenue.
  • Le dessous du véhicule présente une certaine corrosion superficielle, mais aucun avis structurel n'a été émis lors du dernier contrôle technique.
  • Modèle HSE à haut niveau de finition avec placages en bois, tout cuir gris et toit ouvrant.
  • Quelques moisissures sur la garniture de toit, mais l'intérieur est bien entretenu.
  • Le cuir gris s'est très bien inscrit avec peu de signes d'âge, y compris sur le siège du conducteur.
  • Jantes en alliage à 5 rayons, conformes aux normes d'usine, généralement présentables, avec roue de secours assortie.
