The inside of this Z3 looks fantastic finished in tan Oregon leather with matching trim and carpets. The low and enclosed driving position gives a suitably sporty feel to this roadster with the seats providing a similarly sporty feel without being too much for everyday driving.
The dashboard presents excellently finished in the same tan as the rest of the interior with black and chrome. The radio cassette is the original BMW unit and all of the dials present perfectly and look fantastic with the chrome surrounds. The leather wrapped two-tone steering wheel is in perfect unmarked condition and has the feel of quality one would expect from BMW. The seats are finished in tan Oregon leather and are in excellent condition with almost no signs of wear. The carpeting matches the rest of the interior in both colour and condition, in that it is superb. The Z3 is unarguably a great looking car, the classic BMW front combined with the long bonnet and flared wheel arches make for a distinctively styled roadster that still looks as good today as when it was first designed. No plain old silver paint here, finished in metallic red this Z3 is a car that stands out wherever it goes.
The metallic red paintwork is in fantastic condition commensurate with the exceptionally low mileage. All four BMW wheels are in a similarly good condition with no signs of kerbing or other wear. All of the badges, light lenses, windows and trim are in excellent condition and present very well. The black hood works perfectly and is in excellent condition, with no rips, tears or fading visible. As with the rest of this car it presents excellently with regards to the mechanics. Given the low mileage and the quality BMW is known for we’d expect it to be in very good mechanical condition, but thanks to careful ownership where the car has always been stored indoors and under a cover it presents particularly well even for the very low mileage. Under the bonnet the engine looks more or less as it did when it rolled out of the factory and the underside of the car looks almost clean enough to eat off.
The engine starts easily on a turn of the key and the car idles smoothly and sounds lovely with no unwanted noises.
