It was purchased and used successfully as a promotional vehicle for things such as Hollywood and Bollywood films, promotional events, prom nights and other special events.

The inside of the taxi looks to be in original condition.
The seats are grey fabric material with no signs of excessive wear to the front or rear seats, other than a couple of light marks to the back of the front seats from where there has been a guard fitted to the interior.
The door cards are also in good order with no damage to point out, as are the electric window switches, which have no apparent signs of any wear.

Sitting in the driver’s seat, the steering wheel has a small amount of wear to the rim, in keeping with the mileage. The instruments are working as they should; there are no warning lights on when the engine is running, and the odometer shows a reading of 118,796 miles.
The dashboard is free from any damage, and there is a head unit with a CD and cassette player built in, which is reported to be working as it should. The switches for the heaters are in good condition, and everything is reportedly working correctly.

The floor area has a hard-wearing plastic finish as opposed to carpet. This is in good condition, and it is all nice and clean. The headlining is in good order with no sagging; there is a mark on the centre where the guard has been fitted. We should point out that the interior light is missing from the front.

The only colour choice for a New York cab is yellow, and it looks stunning. Starting at the front, there are no real stone chips to mention.
There is a small crack in the paint on the near-side front bumper. The bumper looks to align as it should together with the front panel and bonnet, which has an even panel gap around it. The headlights are nice and clean, as are the indicators. The nearside headlight does look like it needs some slight adjustment to straighten it up a little.

Moving around to the sides of the Crown Victoria, the doors appear to align as they should, again with an even gap around all sides of the entries on both sides. The windows have no scratches to point out, and the window trims are in good condition.
Along the sides are the taxi decals which are in good condition, and that special rare advertising roof light works as it should.

The rear is in good order, with no splits or cracks to the light lenses, and the boot aligns as it should.
The steel wheels are finished in black with a Ford chrome cap in place on all four wheels, and they are fitted with a set of matching Firestone tyres.

Whilst in the UK, the taxi has been well maintained to keep the 4.6 Litre in good order.
The car starts as it should with no untoward noises coming from the engine. The seller reports that driving the vehicle is smooth, and it pulls well through the automatic gearbox, which is operated by the column shift gear lever.
Again, there are no noises to worry about coming from the transmission. The brakes bring the NY cab to a halt in a straight line with no juddering through the foot pedal.
